We listened to previous presentations, attempted to identify and write down the words, phrases, sentences, and discussed among ourselves their grammar and usage. It turned out to be so enlightening besides entertaining.

- ma-leva: happy. ma- 'stative'; the root is leva 'joy, happiness'. l<em>eva, actor voice (AV) is also used by sekacedas a paiwan Paiwan from the east.

- aken: I. 1st person singular nominative
- ta-sauni: just now. The root is sauni. kasauni is also used. In Paiwan, ta- and ka- are interchangeable; both are prefixes for past tense.
- masalu: thank you. maljimalji is also used.
