kinaqadavan, as I learn from different contexts so far, have two other meanings: 

• the number of days (Paiwan Every Day 196), and 
• weather (Paiwan Every Day 237). 

These three meanings seem to share a common property of 'day' and are used by different variations of different locations. But exactly why it is the case remains to be answered and I believe it can be answered by the science of linguistics.
