Level 1-Lesson 1

nanguanguaq sun, sinsi?
uii(misspelling), nanguanguaq a en(misspelling), a tism(misspelling).(wrong punctuation) 
nanguanguaq a en(misspelling) uta,(wrong punctuation) masalu. 

Problems: Misspell pronouns a’en and tisun. 

Revision: 
nanguanguaq sun, sinsi? 
ui, nanguanguaq a’en, a tisun?
nanguanguaq a’en uta. masalu. 

Translation: How are you, teacher? I am fine, and you? I am fine, too. Thank you. 

Level 8-Lesson 2

Uqaljay: kaimazan mun(misspelling: mun is a suffix) a caucau?
Vavayan: uii(misspelling)! kaimazan a men(misspelling) a caucau. 
Uqaljay: se drekay mun(misspelling: se is a prefix;  drekay=Rukai with the first letter in capital for being a proper noun; mun is a suffix)?
Vavayan: ini! sepayuan(p should be capital P) a men(misspelling). 
a niya(misspelling) si-a taqinaljanan(misspelling: there is no '-' in the scripts for writing Paiwan), tja tjuruvu(misspelling: tja is a prefix) a payuan(p should be capital P). tiyamen(misspelling) a sepayuan(p should be capital P) na seqaqusa(misspelling: na is a prefix) i maza(misspelling) i pasa navalj(misspelling: pasa is a prefix) i taiwang(=Taiwan). 

Problems (regarding pronouns only): Misspell -mun, amen, nia and tiamen. Other problems will be discussed later.

Vavayan: ui! kaimazan amen a caucau. 
Uqaljay: seRukaimun?
Vavayan: ini! sePaiwan amen. a nia si’ataqinaljanan, tjatjuruvu a Paiwan. a tiamen a sePaiwan, naseqaqusa imaza i pasanavalj i Taiwan. 

Translation: 
Boy: Are you indigenous people?
Woman: Yes, we are originally from here. 
Boy: Are you Rukai?
Woman: No, we are Paiwan. Our people of Paiwan is larger. We the Paiwan have been here in the south of Taiwan.
